History
The coin «Vienna Philharmonic» has been issued by Austrian Mint since 1989 in four versions, each of which has different face value, size and weight. According to the World Gold Council, the «Vienna Philharmonic» coins became the leaders in terms of sales in 1992, 1995, 1996 and 2000. To this day, they are still popular and in demand in the domestic and international markets. The «Vienna Philharmonic» is the legal tender of Austria. It is the first coin issued with a denomination of 100 euros.
